Get Ready to Kick Off the Fall with Flips & Kicks Plus. At Flips & Kicks Plus, we’re bringing the power and discipline of Goju Ryu Karate to you this fall! Goju Ryu, a traditional style hailing from Okinawa, Japan, blends both hard and soft techniques, combining striking and grappling methods for a well-rounded martial arts experience. Rooted in the rich traditions of both Japanese and Chinese martial arts—particularly the White Crane style from Fujian—Goju Ryu is more than just a martial art; it’s a journey of self-improvement, discipline, and mastery.

Whether you’re a beginner or seasoned practitioner, our classes offer the perfect environment to enhance your skills. From dynamic punches and kicks to effective joint locks and throws, every session is designed to improve your body mechanics and breathing techniques for powerful, precise movements.

Goju Ryu also has strong roots to Chinese martial arts. Especially white crane style from Fujian.

Carla has been one of our devout students and we were so pleased to award her with her black belt in 2022.

At Flips and Kicks we are pleased to partner with different venues where students come and train. We offer Karate classes at WAB, ISB and AudreyAnne Studio (GHL) weekly. We offer our classes both for children and adults.
